Effective immediately, customers can purchase thermography as a standalone service or as a component of a more robust and inclusive preventive maintenance service program.
Process industries from paper, to rubber, to steel and plastics include a wide range of thermography application. Thermal imaging camera inspections at each stage of the manufacturing process can result in higher quality production and reduced downtime by being proactive instead of reactive.
“TSP’s thermal imaging service enables technicians to gather data and proactively monitor the conditions of a system, document readings, establish a baseline and watch trends over time,” said Bill Weiss, director, industrial automation solutions for TSP. “By utilizing a handheld thermal imaging camera, TSP technicians can check transformers, pumps, fans, compressors, motors and all electrical panels.”

Via regular thermographic inspection of critical assets, technicians can determine if a hot spot is out of the ordinary and requires repair. If repair is required, thermal imaging allows the technician to verify, practically immediately, if the repair was successful.
